Migraine Summit Poses Opportunities For Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Patients

It looks like Nimodipine works TRP channels, TRPA1 in particular. That's really interesting given it fits with NCNED's research.

One Gene Many Disorders: Genetic Finding Could Help Explain POTS, EDS, IBS, FM, ME/CFS and Others

No, it means that particular gene isn't included in the 23andme genetic profile so you they are unable to tell you what mutations you have in that gene.

One Gene Many Disorders: Genetic Finding Could Help Explain POTS, EDS, IBS, FM, ME/CFS and Others

Your mentioning of MCAS early in the post makes it seem like MCAS is one of the diagnoses that are related to this newly identified disease. It's a little confusing.

Genistein, Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor, for MCAD and Herpes.

I already ordered some imatinib from India. I hope it doesn't contain all sorts of horrid fillers I can't tolerate. That would be a big bummer.

Genistein, Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor, for MCAD and Herpes.

Well did you test drive any form of genistein?

@Remy Did you give a geniVida supplement a trial? Also how did the imatinib go?

Yes. It makes complete sense to reject participants who don't have a proper diagnosis.

Hanson's Metabolomics ME/CFS Study Validates Naviaux's Core Finding

I've been wondering about the contradiction between the 2 studies as well. They've been putting it down to different techniques / calibration of mass spectrometers, but this seems like a bit of a cop out. Maybe you should strike up a discussion about this on PR? More likely to get responses...

Hanson's Metabolomics ME/CFS Study Validates Naviaux's Core Finding

Already familiar. I'm formula fed for this reason. I'm just interested in what Hanson found.

Hanson's Metabolomics ME/CFS Study Validates Naviaux's Core Finding

I've been suspecting for a while the low mitochondrial function is failing to keep TRPV1 channels stabilised and this is resulting in chemical sensitivity. It becomes fairly obvious in my experience my symptoms of TRPV1 activation and chemical sensitivity escalate rapidly when my energy levels tank.

Hanson's Metabolomics ME/CFS Study Validates Naviaux's Core Finding

Where can we find the details of Hanson's research showing correlations between genes and gut symptoms and chemical sensitivity? These are both huge problems for me especially the chemical sensitivity.

The new Naviaux study is up! Metabolic features of CFS

It doesn't say the trigger doesn't matter, all it says is that they've identified a chemical signature and underlying biology that is present regardless of the cause or trigger. That doesn't mean that there isn't other parallel biology happening at the same time. The study also identified...
