The Jarred Younger and Neuroinflammation, Pain and Fatigue Lab Resource Page - Dynamic young researcher exploring new research and treatment areas in ME/CFS and FM

Jarred Younger is one of the first younger researchers to choose fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome as a career. Younger's studies of low dose naltrexone in fibromaylgia provided a new treatment choice for many with FM and ME/CFS.

Formerly of Stanford, Younger opened the Neuroinflammation, Pain and Fatigue lab in 2015 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His lab has expanded rapidly in the last year.

I came a across an old microglial study where researchers used mice that lack all 5 IFITM genes. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4391874/

Cort, if you get a chance to ask, Is Jarred Younger checking for IFITM genes or would that not be relevant? Also, are microglia he's studying nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the brain like these? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16652343

If this is all related, then everything fits together well. The IFITM are antiviral genes. https://www.science.gov/topihcpages/i/ifitm+protein+family.html
