I wanted to ask how many of you have actual Hashimoto's disease, the autoimmune attack and destruction of the thyroid gland? Also if you have Hashimoto's, when did CFS start in relation to the Hashimoto's.

Note: I have lived with diagnosed Hashimoto's for 25+ years. Treated only with thyroid replacement. In the last 6 years I've been experiencing severe fatigue/exercise intolerance. However, from the start of the disease, low blood glucose has been a daily problem.

I’ve had Hashimoto’s for about 18 years which was diagnosed when I was so tired I would need a nap every 2 hours. I also had/have typical hypothyroid symptoms: lost 3/4 of my hair, couldn’t lose weight & only gained, very puffy face, major constipation. I initially only took T4 (levothyroxine), but then added T3 years ago which helped a lot, but then came the CFS/ME diagnosis.

I’ve had ever worsening CFS/ME symptoms the past 24 months (which I initially thought were hypothyroid)
