I have found HRV tracking extremely helpful in my recovery from EBV and ME/CFS. Sometimes it can be hard to tell when I first wake up how much my body can handle and how to plan my day - but looking at my HRV allows me to know with some confidence how much energy I have available for that day. I also find Resting Heart Rate a good indicator. It often raises just before/during a crash.
