Well, we know that when people are sick they tend to seek professional help. (Sick people seek help)
We also know that for most people sick with ME/CFS seeking professional help doesn't really help at all. (Sick people sick help) (lol)

The reasons are many: They don't believe it, they don't know what to do, the treatment offered doesn't work, the specialists are way too expensive or too far away and so it goes.

With this in mind, are you currently seeing any doctor for your condition?

Please explain why (specially if the answer is no) and how's that been for you. Also if the answer is yes and you'd like, add the name of the doctor and the kind of treatment.

And PLEASE consider adding your doctor and your review to the Practitioner Review section to help others find good doctors or avoid bad doctors.

To Add a Practitioner
  • Click here to go to the Practitioner Review section
  • go to the Country you live in
  • click Add Practitioner
  • Add the Practitioner, say what type of practitioner they are and add City he/she practices in; you can add more information than that but it's not necessary
  • Click Create

To Review That Practitioner or Another On
  • Click on the Big Green Button called Add Review to Review your practitioner.

THANKS!

For me money is scarce right now and I don't know who in my area to see. If the Synergy trial works out I will probably find a practitioner just to try that out. I may end up going to see Kaiser himself. I'm going to be traveling this summer up and down the West Coast and then into Montana and probably up into Canada and Kaiser is in the Bay Area

Because there are so few specialist I think if you find a doc who is willing to listen, isn't afraid to think out of the box and will RX stuff, then you have nothing to lose.

The $125 I pay to see my NP is worth it when you consider what I'd be paying for my Famvir or other AV without her.

Depending on the state determines if NP's can RX and what. Mine has a formulary so she wasn't able to RX me modalert to try.
