How I recovered from M E Hell

Hi Albrin

Sorry, I just saw this very old message now.

I think the idea that we can simply steer our nervous system in one direction with relaxation and hope to recover is a bit optimistic. The body automatically responds to stimulus without us consciously involved.

Monitoring your HRV and seeking to create a calming response may be helpful, but it may also make you more vigilant and can be stressful - so it probably depends on how you engage with this. I do know of people that have used this as part of their recovery with success - I think it was part of Kiki's CFS POTS Chronic Lyme recovery

ANS REWIRE is not solely about mind/body, because we have numerous dysfunctions besides ANS dysfunction and ANS dysfunction is obviously triggered by physical stressors and dysfunctions, so these need to be addressed to give the nervous system support for resetting. I explain in detail why this helpful in the program.

Hope that is helpful - sorry for the late response
