"What surprised me the most about my recovery was that, within three months or so, I became able to rest again. I hadn't realized until then that, since I've had CFS, I've never really rested. Relaxing is a deliciously pleasurable sensation that I haven't felt since 1983. I don't have to worry about overdoing it because my body tells me when it's time to take a break, and I enjoy the resting.
