I have severe ME brain fog. I am trying to contextualize my abnormal Mito swab results with my illnesses and SX. Has anyone else developed abnormal Mito swab results concurrent or as a result of chronic illness/lyme/bartonella/babesiosis? Any studies showing chronic infection/inflammation can lead to abnormal mitochondrial function/Mito swab results? I’m also looking for a specialist in this area in the SouthWest or West.
