Another new name "MIS-C" Children's Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome

Darn, renaming it to MIS-C didn't solve the problem any better than calling it post-covid. Maybe changing the capitalization would make the problem go away! :banghead:

Maybe some bureaucrat was ordered to "Deal with this problem!", and since he couldn't do anything actually productive, he made some splashy presentation that was long and confusing enough to satisfy his superior, even though it was just a pointless name change.

I've always thought the reason "they" keep changing the name of cfids and all the other names over the decades was ,it would confuse the new patients
(Customers) and keep them from converging with the old customers that learned on there own, how to get well. It's an industry people. Sick people can't fathom that another human would do such a thing to a suffering human being. It took me a long time to come to this realization....but it's so true...THERE IS NO MONEY IN A CURED PERSON...so let's just keep changing the name so the NEW sick people
Can't find any history on the illness
