Any one here experienced COVID and had lost their taste in course of your illness, what did you do to keep your nutrition. What were the food did you eat? Any inputs please.

I believe that I had COVID-19 in June but did not get the typical symptoms. I did not lose my sense of taste or smell. I attempted to get a test but was refused a test because I do not use or own a mobile phone.

Therefore I cannot really understand what it is like to have no sense of taste/smell. Does it make it difficult eating? Can you not recollect what you remember about the food(s) you are eating in order to try and help promote restoration of function? It might help you relearn how to taste & smell.

Possibility. Virus infections can result in zinc deficiency and loss of taste is one of the signs of zinc deficiency.
