D-Ribose helps my sleep I wonder why?

I started taking d-ribose 5 grams in water once a day in the late morning. I was hoping it would help with PEM. I’m not sure it has helped much with that. But since I began I have had almost normal sleep almost every night. Previous to this my sleep was erratic. Sometimes waking too early at 3, 4 or 5 a.m. not able to go back to sleep. Sometimes difficulty getting to sleep. And sometimes complete sleeplessness until 4 or 5 a.m. It’s been two months now. I can say that this is a rare instance where I have seen something have a direct and consistent result.

I wonder if anyone else has seen this and wondering why this might be working for me… And whether I should up the dose…

I just did a quick search and found that some people did have improvement with sleep. You might want to do an internet search of your own to find out more info if you don't get any reply's here.
