Marcie would not stop. For years she pressed Jennie Montgomery at WGBF in Augusta, Georgia to focus on ME/CFS. Her persistence paid off. The television station will air a special report on ME/CFS on channel in two days. Yesterday, it featured Marcie's story.
People sharing, telling their stories, advocating - that's how the word gets spread and it's how ME/CFS ultimately gets solved. Marcie probably didn't think she had a chance of getting through, but she persisted and now a television station - just down the road from the CDC - is airing a "special report on ME/CFS. A big thank you to Marcie!
