Graded Exercise is Not Good For Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Says NPR (!)

This is the first media article I've ever seen to address the exercise question correctly. The article clearly states that regular exercise is a disaster for ME/CFS. The CDC's decision to not recommend GET anymore clearly played a role.

I think this is a ground-breaking article. Hopefully we will see more like it.

Graded exercise prescriptions "are rooted in a very controversial study, which suggests people do a much more vigorous and much more dangerous form of exercise," Klimas says. "Those guidelines have hurt a lot of people. And they were implemented all around the world."

"If a doctor sends a patient to the gym to do endurance exercise, that's going to be a disaster," Klimas says. "Doctors do that all the time, and these patients get much, much worse."

I'm quick to forgive people who show growth and change, so I applaud Jennifer McQuiston for her honesty and bravery. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Cort.
