The nurse came 3 times, I think, to help me. She would be appalled at my less than sterile technique. To be fair, I am usually better about wiping things down with alcohol wipes. I got intimidated by filming! LOL.

Does the infusion tube have 4 needles? Do they hurt when you put them in?

They come with all numbers of needles. You can put 20-25 mL into any one site. So my 50 mL dose could go into two sites and then I would have a two needle infusion set. But it's easier for me to put it into three sites. Each one swells less and then if there is a problem with one leaking, I can just shut it off and carry on with my remaining two sites.

When I was doing the high dose, I had 4 needle sets.

Yes, just when it starts.

It's SCIG...the subQ version of IVIG.

I do have hypogammaglobulinemia with deficiencies in subclasses 1 and 3.
