I wasn't dismissing it for being old. I was pointing out that it isn't peer-reviewed, and is out of print.

I got a virus I never recovered from. That is a classic cause.

Me too. My initial CFS was triggered by what appeared to be a viral infection. However other stressors were likely more important in causing my CFS.
