I'm a big fan of what Shallenberger has taught regarding ozone (it's one of my favorite treatments!) but I think he's off base on adrenal issues.
Science has shown that adrenal adaptation and exhaustion model is largely incorrect and that lowered levels of cortisol are actually adaptive during illness.
I wouldn't have believed this myself except for treating as he recommends myself for several years. In retrospect, I would probably make a different choice than replacing hydrocortisone.
