I'm gaga about this article. It's the feature article of the magazine sent to the 32,000 members of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. It's going to some really hardcore researchers - just the kind of people we want interested in this disease.
When a magazine like that leads off with a long, well-researched article that hits the right notes to a audience like that - we have to be making progress in changing the perceptions around this disease.
ASMB is probably glad they took ME/CFS on - the article has over 130 comments. I'm willing to bet that nothing they've done has gotten that many comments. ME/CFS may not getting a lot of funding but it is getting a lot of interest. It was, for instance, one of Medscape's top ten medical stories on 2017.
