Myelophil for CFS?

Anyone tried it? Or know how to get it? (Astragali Radix and Salviae Radix)

I see some old-ish reports on it, and then ProHealth today posted this summary as if it were new research, but as far as I can tell they're just recycling old news. Still it piqued my interest, since I'd never heard of it.

I don't know, @Paw. That study doesn't look all that great. 36 people, no changes in actual cytokine levels and just a subjective report of improvement of fatigue? I'm not all that impressed.

I have tried astragalus alone though. It wasn't something that helped me particularly but it is a good adaptogen in general to try, I think, for our population.

I took it because I read a study where it significantly reduced acetylcholine antibodies so it has a lot of potential uses.

Thanks Remy. Maybe worth a try. I'll check into availability of both. Although I've not noticed much effect from other adaptogens, maybe this particularly combo is magical fairy dust.

I think just about everything is worth a try if my supplement closet is anything to go by! Let me know if it is magical...
