I hope this is the right place. I have had chronic fatigue of some sort for a very, very long time. It does not seem to fit into a neat category, and there are many disparate clues that say "something weird is wrong with you" without being conclusive.
Over the years I've had a smattering of health issues that look weird but may be related.
Lots of tools are now available that were not available before, one of which is whole genome sequencing. I just recently ran some reports through Sequencing.com and fed them into an AI (because I am desperate, don't shoot me) and received what appears to be some promising info, though I'm skeptical about its quality. I would love to find an expert I could work with to take a look at this and tell me if these things are actually relevant to my health. I am completely in the dark as to where I should go with this.
My own health insurance takes a cookie-cutter approach to everything, and it takes forever to work through their system. What makes it even worse is that they won't accept outside information so the whole process would start from scratch (at best) or get waved off entirely (more likely). I am 67 years old and just don't have the time to go through all of that.
I've been an infrequent visitor here for years but since my symptoms don't map cleanly to what many experience, I don't visit that often these days. Any thoughts are appreciated.
