As you may be aware, British paediatrician Nigel Speight has been effectively barred on practising with ME/CFS patients or giving talks on the subject by the General Medical Council (GMC).

A petition has started at #MEAction to reverse the decision.

Petition has been cancelled. Dr Speight fears it may harm his case. He wants no help presently. All are thanked.

He's been pretty adamant all along that no one from the outside get involved in this.

Right. It is possibly different too from Myhll due to it being children and not adults. There is a great deal of secrecy over Children in the UK. Or a campaign on your behalf and the noise it creates may feel a little overwhelming and fearful as it travels its own road. Can make the British authorities more stubborn and inflexible and they give themselves a payrise.
