The NIH had said for over a decade that they can't do a Request For Applications (RFA) grant for chronic fatigue syndrome. RFA's are major grant packages that come with money already provided.They are great at jump starting a field which is exactly what ME/CFS. It had one RFA that was successful about 10 years ago. Now it needs another


Say the RFA is for $3 million dollars. That will fuel 6-10 new grants a year for 3 or 4 years.
