It's a small thing but in the latest Solve ME/CFS Initiative Newsletter Vicky Whittemore stated that NINDS will initially chair the Working Group Meetings but that the leadership of the chair will rotate in the future.
Prior to this NINDS said that Koroshetz - the Director of NINDS - was going to lead the meetings. The change could be an attempt to further involve the other Institutes. My worry, though, is that NINDS isn't as committed to this as we hoped. If they had a vision of what they wanted to accomplish they would want to keep the chair position...
We shall see. We will be able by checking out the membership see who attended. Is Koroshetz going to attend all the meetings? Or is he going to quickly drop off of them. My guess is the later. We shall see.
