Has anyone tried a Polar V800 to monitor HRV long term? I bought an A300 w/ the strap that works with Elite HRV. I don't have a smart phone, but I borrow my husbands and am starting to see some interesting trends. I would like to do more monitoring, and wondering if the V800 will track data as well as Elite HRV? I need to either upgrade my phone or my watch, and am thinking I'd rather wear a watch. As well, I could track my daily steps along with HRV which I think might be very useful for me, if the Polar HRV info is useful.
Also curious if it's normal to see runs of high HR from band malfunction. I had a run of it this morning when I was still in bed, and am assuming it's the band and not my heart. Though nothing would surprise me.
TIA,
Michelle
