Ha. Do you think they are going to give Adagen for pain in this lifetime? It's thousands of dollars a vial and only available for SCID. I tried to get someone to give it to me because I had low adenosine deaminase levels and high adenosine, but I was told the only shot would be to get a researcher interested in doing a research trial.

I hope it's true for selfish reasons but I just can't see insurance going for this.

Maybe it will open the way for new drugs or directions. Just knowing that adenosine may be a big flag, for so many of our issues, would be nice for it to be further addressed.

There are also supplements that increase adenosine.

But this article I first posted, said adenosine is too high. At least one type of it. But it is a major player in mitochondria and energy.
