Did you know that FDA is seeking comments on how you take NAC (N-acetyl-cysteine)?

The comment period ends in one week.
Did you notice that NAC was gone from Amazon? And formulations seem to have become more "skunky" lately? That's because FDA is reconsidering NAC as a supplement.
NAC is used off label in hospitals around the world and saves lives.

Actually considering the timing, I'd say that this is a cash grab by pharmaco's, and they should be ashamed of their greed. After tarring and feathering supplements for decades, now they want one back because it's effective? Well no. Even Amazon slapped down greed and hoarding during the pandemic. The behavior of FDA on this issue is beyond shameful. There is zero evidence of harm from NAC. And its effectiveness is a reason to keep it on the market, not remove it.
