Valcyte financial help

I've applied to Genentech for help paying for valcyte, but the ICD-9 code for CFS is not on their list of approved diagnoses. Has anyone had success using another code? I did test extremely positive for CMV.

Was it IgG or IgM that was high? They may cover for HHV6 but you're better off with CMV for sure.

Let us know what happens with this.

If you do not get approved there are places to get it that are between $200-400/month for 450 mgs or 900 mgs. Sounds like a lot but that's pretty cheap in the scheme of things.

I wonder whether the doctor you're seeing has some ideas as well? Can you say who tested for CMV?

The doctor probably has to sign off on everything and write the script.

Some places request financials from applicants to get help.
