Wet macular bleed - made this film to help others be aware of the symptoms

Hi Guys,
I got a diagnosis of ME ten years ago, and a lyme/babesia diagnosis about five years after that. Just over a year ago, I had a wet macular bleed. Because I've become so used to managing weird symptoms, I very nearly didn't act on sudden changes in my sight. Luckily I was persuaded otherwise, and so saved the sight in my right eye. For now, anyway...

There is an association in the literature between bartonella and retinal bleeds, so I think this is potentially relevant to those with tick-borne disease. Also, the researcher I meet at Manchester Eye Hospital told me they're looking into a link with the complement system and age-related macular degeneration, so inflammatory processes are also in the frame.

Please feel free to share if you can. The wonderful ophthalmologist in the film (who is treating me) says he still sees plenty of patients who 'didn't want to bother the doctor' and left getting professional help too late for effective treatment.
