Calming the Amygdala with sound -- BAUD device

Interesting, although I looked and didn't see enough supporting information. It runs $500.00. It is supposedly doing something I've been working on for 6 months or so, limiting as much negative mental stimulation as possible. Music, prayer-meditation, avoidance of the news and Facebook. The...

    5HT-2A and JC polyomavirus

Thanks Hip and Kobold, I just finished reading the thread on PR, a question. How does lamotrigine, (lamictal) compare. It too is an antipsychotic. I take low dose lamictal (12.5) to stabilize my mood, and does amisulpride also help with sleep?

Anyone work with DRibose for FM/CFS

Just started, I take it when I feel a shift towards exhaustion, usually I take it a couple of hours after breakfast and it seems to help within an hour. I've only been doing this for a few weeks, up to 3 times a day. Oddly it may calm my system down, a little less pain and anxiety. The jury is...

Resource "Wired to Eat" - The Best Dietary Guide for ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia?

I bought the book, My takeaway is to pay attention to the carbs you eat, noting type and amount. A few hours later 2, I assume jot down symptoms. A meter may help but may not be needed. Last night I had a pasta and chickpea meal, I awoke at 1AM and not in a good place, I felt "crashy". My sleep...

Resource "Wired to Eat" - The Best Dietary Guide for ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia?

The point is being missed, I agree with you Cort. It offers a way of evaluating carb intake, using the test and personal symptoms throughout the day allows reasoned choices about what to eat, when to eat, etc. We share many symptoms and biologic disfunction, but our triggers are often unique to...

Resource How to Take Probiotics (and which ones to take) by Joan Pankyo

I've started Ken Lassesen's protocol, he is an amazing resource of information he daily adds research info. I've purchased and started with herbs which have been proven to reduce the unwanted and I will soon begin to add the beneficial ones, all based on science gleaned from pubmed studies. The...

I'm starting to look more closely at Ken's work, my gut needs serious help, and his approach makes a great deal of sense. Using pub-med as a resource for treatment. Below is his take on the latest Lipkin study. https://cfsremission.com/author/lassesen/

Getting into Rest and Digest Mode During Relaxation Breaks

Several months ago i came across Olarfur Arnalds, Icelandic I believe. I have since purchased 6 of his Cd's. His music is unique, has a a deeply calming effect. Most evenings we keep the 6 cd's cycling. I also use when I'm on my bed of nails and meditating.

    Kimchi for sinusitis

We know our gut biom is out of wack, one study indicates things are also amiss in our sinuses. Many in our community have serious sinus issues. I had mild ME/CFS for a little over 10 years, then a series of problems with my gut and a chronic sinus infection led to a steep decline in health...
