Former NHS employee, academic, and clinician Lindy, in her blog Disabled in Tory Britain, writes about PACE and her disillusionment with the British healthcare system:
[quoteNow I think the NHS is a closed shop and a system that can allow terrible neglect or abuse of patients by not being critical enough of the internal processes. This has allowed a totally wrong treatment programme to be initiated and then continued, despite all the evidence to the contrary.][/quote]

She says it's not right that Tom Kindlon, a patient, has had to fight to uncover the truth about PACE. Why haven't scientists and editors at academic journals in the UK done that work for patients?
She recommends a recent post at Cort Johnson's Health Rising as providing a good summary of the battle over PACE.
