You can ask your library to order a copy of Forgotten Plague. http://www.forgottenplague.com/shop If the library purchases a copy, you get to see the film free, and you make it available for others in the community.

I've had good luck over the years with my requests for libraries to purchase material. Check the library's website for any information on purchase requests. Some websites offer forms for such requests. You might have to email or call to find out how to request material. Have ready relevant information: title, director, price, website. You might be asked how you heard about the film and point the librarian to a review. Here's a review of Forgotten Plague at Huffington Post:

I just checked the collection at my small town library, and although the it doesn't include Forgotten Plague or other films on ME/CFS, I was pleasantly surprised to see a dozen books on CFS specifically or CFS and similar illnesses. The number of books tells me that librarians are aware of public interest in this topic.

Hey Guys,
Looks like the petition is getting close to 30,000 signatures! It has slowed down quite a bit though as I've watched, but I know if we ALL rally together, we can get so many more signatures on this thing and have a REAL impact on Francis Collins/NIH. I read on #ME Actions page that they have paired up with Mary's petition and will use it in conjunction with the protest. Think how incredible it would be to hold up a petition with public support that went up to something like 100,000! I am challenging all of us to not just sign but to share...send to friends, family, or post on facebook. Remind them, this is not asking for donations, just 30 seconds and your signature. (And address to validate you) This is something even the sickest of us can do to have our voices heard, and there isn't a better time than May. Please, keep signing and sharing! -Candi
