Helen, an administrator of the Facebook ME (ME/CFS) Fundraising Group, has posted that a young artist with ME, Andre Montanez, is competing in the Rare Artist Contest. Please vote for Andre's work. Andre is presently in sixth place in her age group.

Title: “Untitled” by Alison Montalvo Age: 15 Disease Name: Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. It affects a loved one, submitted on her behalf.

 “I was inspired by my life with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. From the deepest parts, when I fall without being able to move, it represents my suffering caused by all the symptoms that knock me down. All those desires to grow, do things on my own, and not be able to because I'm carrying the weight of this disease.”
