Role of Adenosine and ADA in MECFS?

24.5 x 10^8 M range (16.8-21.4). That doesn't seem to fit?
My guess is a missing minus sign...?: 24.5 x 10^(-8) = 245nM or 0.245uM.

Which would be marginally lower than the quantities I referenced (at ~0.3uM). But your lab gave a range 0.168uM - 0.214uM (if I'm right about the minus). Which would fit closer with this range of "0.04 and 0.2 micromoles" (uM) that I Googled off a random page: http://www.news-medical.net/health/Adenosine-Pharmacological-Effects.aspx

That page also states:
  • "Adenosine suppresses immunity and immunological functions to a certain extent." Possibly because "production of steroid hormones are raised" from the adrenal glads.
  • "increases the breakdown of glycogen to form glucose." raising blood glucose, "prevents fat breakdown or lipolysis".
  • Dilates blood vessels (so decreases pressure), slows heart rate.
