An 'exhausted' army of immune cells may not be able to fight off infection, but if its soldiers fight too hard they risk damaging the very body they are meant to be protecting, suggests new research from the University of Cambridge.

I think this fits nicely with Dr. Hornig's research where she found the Cytokines rage for 3 years and then collapse in exhaustion and are damaged.

And no doubt have caused damage to the CNS and body.

OMG JennyJenny this could be really big!
It sounds soooooo like ME/CFS......The Australians are finding burnt out T-cells in ME/CFS....

This is just too cool. I hope it's as exciting as it looks. I'm going to get the study. '
