Very interesting! There are "ice neck wraps" on the market, such as this one. https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Ice-Neck-Wrap-Therapy/dp/B0040K5CTK/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1467995468&sr=8-1&keywords=pro+ice+neck+wrap

Ron Davis on Possibly Explaining (Almost) Everything in ME/CFS: The #MissingMillions Talk

I wonder if Ron would consider holding an occasional online Q&A session like Jarred Younger does? (Janet, if you're reading this, perhaps you can ask him?) An occasional Q&A session would be a wonderful way to keep ME/CFS patients and those who care for us "in the loop" and answer questions like...

Ron Davis on Possibly Explaining (Almost) Everything in ME/CFS: The #MissingMillions Talk

Hi Janet, Well said! What Ron and his colleagues are doing is extremely inspiring and exciting. One thing I'm wondering though, is with regards to Ron's comment that he is talking with drug companies, which I assume means to develop new treatments? Does this mean he feels that there are no drugs...

May 19th Jarred Younger UAB webinar

It was a wonderful presentation. Dr Younger is fantastic ... so clear, straightforward, and open about what he's working on, and what he does and doesn't know. He's perhaps the best thing that's ever happened for us patients.

Difference between NIH and OMF studies?

This is so exciting! Plus Jarred Younger and Ian Lipkin (and others) doing their own cutting-edge stuff as well. To imagine that we may have an answer within the next year or so does not seem far-fetched to me. Or am I being too optimistic?

Difference between NIH and OMF studies?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could explain to this poor brain-fogged person what the difference is between the ME/CFS research the NIH is doing (which seems to involve looking at hundreds of variables to see where the problem lies) and what the Open Medicine Foundation is doing (which...

Younger Video: Testing nine potential treatments for GWI

I would run out to the store and try these myself, except virtually every herb or nutritional supplement that I've ever taken causes me to feel much WORSE. Anyone else experience this too?

Jarred Younger Starts Short YouTube Video Series.

We are lucky indeed! Except I certainly hope "the long haul" will be a short drive. I really wish the interviewer had asked Jarred how soon he thinks an effective treatment will be available. 1 year? 3 years? 5?

Breakthrough Study Indicates how Gut Infections Can Cause Long Term Immune Dysregulation

This is extremely interesting. I wonder if overuse of antibiotics, and consequent candida overgrowth/infection, can produce the same long-term abnormalities. If so, that would explain my persistent CFS/ME even though my antibiotic exposures were over 30 years ago (which was also when my symptoms...

    Sleep makes my CFS worse!!!!

My thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread so far; it's nice to know that I'm not alone with this bizarre aspect of this disease!! What's also interesting is how many different theories are posted here about WHY this happens. I suppose all of them can't be true, so which one is?
