Ryan Prior, director of Forgotten Plague, has entered a contest run by Eagle Rare Bourbon in hopes of winning $50,000 to support his Blue Ribbon Foundation medical fellowship program. Vote everyday in the contest. The contest, which began May 30th, ends at 11:59 pm on January 4th, 2017. http://www.eaglerarelife.com/content/ryan-prior

This is the post at the Forgotten Plague Facebook page:

Help us win $50,000 to support ME/CFS education efforts! You can vote every day, to help us build momentum around the Blue Ribbon Fellowships. Help us spread the word about this contest and get this disease into the minds of medical students!

The distillery is in Kentucky, so I guess the "11:59 pm" is Eastern Standard Time. Oh wait. Part of Kentucky is Eastern Time and part Central. I need more information.

Edit: The distillery is Frankfort, Ky, which is in the Eastern Standard Time zone.

I put a reminder on my personal calendar. Does "bump" mean something in particular or just that I open it everyday?

"Bump" means to write the word "bump" or "bumping" in a post (comment) so the thread shows up in New Posts.

could it be that you can only vote once? I keep getting the page with 'thank you for voting' on the voting button...

The vote is for every day, and it's a 24 hour system. I thought I voted at 7:01 yesterday, but I didn't get the "vote" button until 7:03. Until 24 hours have elapsed, you will get "thank you for voting."
