Almost crippling breathing problems?

David-
I’m sorry to hear that. I started treating for Lyme, Bart and babesia and mine started improving. It went away for a while and I could sleep again. It comes and goes now when I ramp up treatment. Japanese Knotweed helped my voice issues. I never got croaky, but I had issues in my throat for sure. It’s gone now. Have you tried to treat for Lyme and coinfections?? I know you tested negative, but that test is garbage and with a history of afib and head symptoms, I strongly suggest you look into it more. It screams Lyme!

It is definitely something I was strongly suspicious of initially but after the negative test I knew the likelihood of that being investigated further by my doctor was zilch.

How did you get tested/a positive test, and what treatment are you on for those conditions?

I tested for Lyme through Igenex and for bartonella through galaxy. My babesia test was negative, but I had air hunger too so I started treating that as well. Zhangs artemesia helped me with that within weeks. I’m also taking Japanese knotweed, Cell Core IS-BAB, and will add in Zhangs Allicin next. Stephen Buhner has books and entire protocols that help so many people. Cell Core also has programs and tinctures that focus on the system as a whole, not just killing the bugs. I’m doing both. I still have the diaphragm issue off and on, but like I said, it seems to flare when I’m treating. These are things you can do on your own or with a llmd, but I’d jump into something soon. You could have collagen loss as well. I’m sure that’s some of my issue too. I’m happy to help if you have questions. I revisited your post bc mine was flaring, but I wanted to tell you it can improve!!

That's great info, thanks! Now I just have to find a decent Lyme doctor and see if they will listen to me.

But I guess I could look into those supplements first and see what's what. I'm able to find all of them here (UK) but not the Zhang's variation. May have to do a little researching...

Id just start on your own while you’re looking for a llmd in your area. If you’re on fb, there are several groups for Buhner, treating Lyme, etc. I’ve found them very helpful. Knotweed is a staple in his program and the one many start with since it helps Lyme and Bart.

Thank you! I've found a couple on there so will join and see what I can find.

DAVID: I believe the HGH homeopathic gel can help EVERYONE if they stay with it, don't start and quit if they don't get instant results...it's not an overnight fix, we did not get so damaged overnight, did we. I can send you info if you give me the go ahead, but now it costs $4-5 daily as HGH products are not from the dollar stores. j
Hello - I too would like the HGH info you're referring to here. I don't know how you mean you would do so.??? Thank you for your post!

Same here, I don't think jaminhealth ever gave the name to me. Still no availability for HGH in the UK too, sadly.

Hi Amwags, unfortunately not. In many ways it's actually gotten worse.

Very much feels like a muscular weakness to me, still. My voice becomes very croaky and weak when I talk too much now too.
Hello David, I just discovered this thread and have been struggling for the past 18 months with dreadful breathing difficulties similar to those you've described. So sorry to hear of your symptoms, but I am very interested in your process and journey with this. Are you any better now?

My doctor has just ordered an ultrasound test for diaphragm muscle paralysis, which may be the result of phrenic nerve damage caused by severe narrowing of the nerve canals in my neck, as seen on an MRI. Apparently, this can cause significant breathing impairment, and I mention it in case it may help you or others in your quest for answers.

I hope to see your update on here, and that you are better!

I've talked about the HGH my daughter and I use in the separate HGH thread here. Now not saying it's the answer to the difficult breathing but HGH addresses so much of our health issues. It basically got rid of years of anemia my daughter battled with for many many yrs.

Hi alewis, unfortunately not. If anything, the problem has been getting progressively worse for the last 3 years with no real answers in sight. I was told my breathing issues were the result of a 'breathing dysfunction'. Just another polite way of telling me it was mainly due to anxiety/over or under breathing because I was stressed. Is it any wonder most of us stay away from doctors these days?!

Anyway, I eventually forced my GP to refer me a diaphragm fluoroscopy. It found no issues but it wasn't the most thorough of examinations. I'm still convinced of phrenic nerve/vagus nerve damage that's causing this though. I can literally feel the weakness as I breathe.

Anyway, I hope you have that test and it provides some answers for you. Meanwhile, I keep investigating myself.

On this breathing issue, my 25 yr grandgirl has been having issues, difficult sleeping and just so clogged for good breathing...she finally went to a recommended Naturopath and he did muscle testing and talked to her about so much...says he believes a lot of the issues stem from childhood vaccines, and she and her brother were Victims of the barrage of vaccines when they were born. Their mother didn't want all them and pediatrician kept PUSHING and she won as does Big Pharma controls, fear and you name it.

Also foods, cut out processed dairy and eat and drink raw if one feels milk is vital for them, I do NOT. And eat very very little cheese and if I do get a Hard Cheese and MODERATION.

I don't know if this helps you but it could.

My family do NOT do the covid jabs so that isn't even a consideration for us.

Hi David, I'd like to know how you've been doing over the past 6 months. Have you been able to get any insight into your breathing issues, or, hopefully, some relief?

I've not been able to have the ultrasound test of my diaphragm yet, as it's not available in my area. I would have to travel quite a distance and am not able to do that right now, maybe eventually. Meanwhile it's constantly hard work to breathe, not just upon exertion.

Cort Johnson let me know by email today to watch for a blog coming up on HealthRising, on the topic of breathing issues and exercises that seem to have helped some folks. I hope it might make a difference for any of us enduring this almost unendurable symptom.

Lastly, have you been able to find a decent Lyme doctor?

Hi everyone.
Im so sorry you are still suffering with breathing issues mine are much less these days and they're coming and going which makes me suspect it's the ME rather than something else. what helped me a lot was breathing in then holding my breath as long as I can and repeating this as many times as I can.

hang on in there.

First thing I go to with ALL issues is Grape Seed Extract and how it can help.

I have good breathing at 83 and a long time taker of Grape Seed Extract. Cleans and thins our blood. Inexpensive support and does so much Think about it....and you may find better breathing.

Thanks, Roxi. Glad to hear your breathing issues are diminishing. Thanks for the breathing tip, too.

Hi David, It's possible that I might have some answers for you but, obviously, can't be certain. My own respiratory failure was a consequence of nano-silica particle sprays but virtually the same thing can result from an infection. The pathway involves gram negative bacterial lipopolysaccharides. Normally the body has uses for them but any dysregulation of the body can result in the lipopolysaccharides becoming toxic to the body and they are classified as an endotoxin. Wherever the body has previously found uses for them they can suddenly disrupt whichever process they are being used in. The one's which I have been looking at involve muscle contraction, and that includes respiratory muscles. Even though my lungs, themselves, seem to be in good condition most of my respiratory muscles have ceased working and I only have around 18% function. It's enough to keep me alive and provide me with basic physical function but not much more. There are a lot of different dietary options which can help with the condition and it's only the fact that I need to wait for a full diagnosis, for legal reasons, which has delayed me doing anything about it. For information, even covid has been causing this dysregulation in a lot of people.

Baz93, sorry to hear of your breathing challenges. May I ask, what test showed that most of your respiratory muscles have ceased working and that you have about 18% function?
Also, have you been able to get your full diagnosis yet?

Hi alewis, For me it was quite complicated as my condition was immediately dismissed by physicians who then proceeded to ignore the issues for seven years. I was eventually able to find a GP who assisted me in identifying an autoimmune myopathy which I now suffer from; myositis. Thanks to testing positive for PL-7 antiibodies, which are indirectly linked to respiratory issues, I was finally able to convince the hospitals physicians to perform pulmonary function testing. It was these which demonstrated the low pulmonary function. My test results were extremely difficult to measure, with many of the tests failing as they couldn't measure function so low. In order to confirm the results of the tests the physicians decided to perform a sleep test, where breathing and so on are measured as you sleep. Although my AHI isn't too bad they were deeply concerned about the large drops in my blood oxygen levels overnight, confirming the results. One of the physicians remarked that it was lucky that I have never smoked before, obviously implying that further impairment of my respiratory system would have guaranteed my death by now. I am now aware that medical research has begun to determine that silica nanoparticles, such as those which I was exposed to (sourced from polyethylene resin), inhibit the transfer of phosphate from ATP for energy production within the mitochondria of cells. Since this affects both aerobic and anaerobic energy production it's little wonder that people with silica exposures experience such horrendous collapse of health. Due to the legal issues involved, with their hospital involved in deriding me for claiming that work exposures had resulted in a massively fast collapse of my health, they have declined to provide me with a diagnosis which will contradict prior diagnoses and have advised that my GP refer me to a physician specialising in legal cases in order to obtain that diagnosis. They don't deny my claims anymore, advising me that my failing health is likely to result in organ failures in coming years.

Has anyone considered HIGHER doses of Vit C, sounds too simple????? Take thru the day, I've been taking Vit C for decades and my breathing is just fine and I'm 83..... Linus Pauling one smart scientist...

Grape Seed Ex is more powerful than Vit C and I take both...

This from a health advisor today:

A potent antioxidant, vitamin C is one of the most important nutrients your body needs on a daily basis for optimal health. Your skin, brain, heart, eyes, lungs and immune and digestive systems all need vitamin C in order to function properly. In fact, nearly all the organs in your body can benefit from vitamin C.
