Hey Everyone,

Has anybody had any luck with healing leaky gut? I suspect it’s a big issue of mine and I’ve been following a gut healing protocol for a while now and I’m seeing good results but was wondering if anybody more experienced can give me any extra advice.

Currently I follow a ketogenic diet, and incorporate the following into my daily life…

L-Glutamine
Beef gelatine
Bone broth
Goats milk kefir
24hr yogurt
High strength probiotic capsules
Sauerkraut

I have a white coating on my tongue that never goes away, and I’ve read this is a sign of bacterial overgrowth

Any help would be heatedly appreciated

Lots of love to you all x

What you are taking supplies lots of Glycine which is what is helping you. Glutamine is a component of Glutathione which is in high demand in CFS. Adding some NAC might also help.

It is misinformation where it is claimed that L-Glutamine will heal Increased Digestive Permeability/"Leaky Gut" because the cause is a biofilm protected pathogenic infection and L-Glutamine will not fix that. That is the cause of CFS.

There is a very tiny mention of a pathogenic infection in a very big paper.

This is really helpful, thank you Carl 🙏🏼

I healed my gut with a combination of homemade kombucha and diatomaceous earth.
I took a 1/2 teaspoon of diatomaceous earth three times daily, for one month. I understand that it is and natural anti-parasitic and also has other health benefits to the gut.

Please note the kombucha has to be homemade so that you can keep extra post-ferment sugar out of it.
Very easy to make on kitchen bench top. See online for a SCOBY starter and how to get it going.
I took a tablespoon of my kombucha three times daily, for three months and then dropped it down to just a tablespoon daily.
One day I just got the "feeling", for want of a better word, that I didn't need it anymore. My gut pain and IBS was resolved and has remained stable now for one year.

A white coating on your tongue can indicate candida, which means to cut out everything that feeds candida for life, sugar, wheat, chemicals, and eat food probiotics daily like your probiotic capsules and sauerkraut if you mean the raw fermented kind, not the vinegar kind. People didn't eat high amounts of sugar 100 years ago because it wasn't available so this is going back to pregrocery store diet. Flour 100 years ago wasn't yet genetically modified to be more carbs, less protein and to be toxic. Whole foods are the way to go, foods that you buy looking like they grew, single ingredient. It helps to even cut out whole food carbs for a month or so to starve the candida. Some people are more prone to candida infections, especially on some meds like steroids.
