    Kratom

Wicked has morphed into a new form: https://www.wickedteacompany.com/ Password is wickedtoto (I have permission to post this). On the left sidebar, click on Product Info to find descriptions of the kratom strains and blends. Then go back to the sidebar and click on Tea to order what you want...

    Kratom

@Steve my dose is never more than 1/4tsp, or 0.5g. I drink it as a hot tea. I've had good results with Wicked Kratom's Confetti blend for energy. I get a gentle lift with no jitters or crash. I don't have pain issues, so I'm no help there.

High THC Cannabis - Sleep Inducer and MCS Buster - Who Knew?

@Cort I'm also interested in what's working for you. I got certified in Maryland, but so far my experiments either do nothing, or stimulate more wakings.

    Kratom

The recall was for 3 types of Raw Form Organics kratom, which I've never heard of. I got a lot of information on redditt's kratom forum. I never did find a strain that helps with sleep. Not surprising, as it's not known for helping insomnia.....but I always hope I'll find something. Wayne...

    Partial remission

I take 20-23 mg shilajit daily. So far less that the 200mg mentioned in this study!

    Partial remission

I have slow-progression, mild => moderate CFS, 30+ years. I've had ups and downs, but never any real improvement. About 6 months ago I started PQQ (jarrow, 20mg/day), and moved from middle to low moderate. I added shilajit, which is supposed to be a potentiser and immune system support, and...

Has anyone had any experience with magnesium lotion?

When I forget to take magnesium pills, my legs kick at night. I keep magnesium as a spray oil in my bedroom for those occasions, and it stops the kicking right away.

    CFS progression, Dr. Bell,ubiquinol

I've been sick for over 30 years; I have the version of CFS that's mild onset and very very gradual, continuous, worsening of symptoms. I've never had a serious crash, or a remission. I also have never had OI.

    Help with diet

No, I don't take any medications; my situation is very irritating but not dangerous. I should have said 'compliant' foods rather than 'safe.' I'm taking quercetin, mangosteen, and vitamin C. Thanks for the food advice.

    Help with diet

I'm trying to construct a low histamine diet I can stick with, and I have 2 questions: Are all leftovers restricted, or only proteins? I've been freezing meat immediately after cooking, and can't figure out if I need to do the same with grains and vegetables. I'm traveling to Ohio in June...

Lipkin's new microbiome study, "Fecal metagenomic profiles in subgroups of patients with ME/CFS"

In Cort's article Ian Lipkin says “The ME/CFS community is very eager to find solutions. I expect there will be people immediately trying to modify their microbiota. In the end we think all this needs to be done in a full clinical trial but there will be people acting on this.” Yes, that's me...

Could Donald Trump Be Good For Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia?

I think the republican party has been playing a very long game, deeply funded by business interests that are about to reap the rewards of massive de-regulation. Fox "news" has been a fundamental, necessary part of this game, mis-educating and scaring a large portion of our populace for 8 years...

Turning the Corner on the Paleo Diet?

@Cort how's the paleo life going for you?

Is it possible to get better even if you are broke?

I haven't gotten any help from doctors, because I don't have the kind of symptoms they can treat, like POTS or thyroid problems or adrenal issues. The only supplements I take are vitamin D and B12, because I have tested low for them in the past, and they can affect energy. Also they're cheap...

    Vegan Doctors

I just cook what I feel like eating - I make it up as I go along. But the template was soy milk, often with cocoa, stevia, lots of mornings. Sometimes oat groats, sometimes granola, often chia + flax + oat bran cooked with blueberries, or amaranth, or leftover dinner. I kept a 1:1:1 mixture...

What do you do when you have emotional mini-meltdowns?

I think Katie's questions and turnarounds can be very useful in puncturing our posturing behaviors (read: ego). This morning I thought "I can't understand how people could believe him." Is that true? Actually, no, I can understand if I try. Which is also a turnaround - I can understand how...

    Vegan Doctors

I just finished a 5-month whole-foods vegan experiment to lower cholesterol. Imagine my shock when I got my blood results and everything is worse (except that HDL increased with everything else). My total cholesterol is now over 350. Also all those carbs increased triglycerides. I like...

What do you do when you have emotional mini-meltdowns?

If it's winter, I get my light box out and start using it every morning. Any time, my mantra is "do no harm." I don't go out, and don't answer the phone. I don't like any kind of tv/streaming, but I try to keep a huge pile of library books close by. When my brain is fried, I read Y fiction...

    Kratom

I've been experimenting with kratom for a few weeks, hoping for help staying asleep. It's more often used for pain relief, but some people have luck with it for sleep issues that are unrelated to pain. It's early days yet. Response to various strains and dosages is highly individual, so I've...

POTS Inexplicably Improves After Topical DMSO Applications

No, I stopped. It was amazing for my skin - made it very soft. But that was all.
