Fibromyalgia Drugs Miss the Mark in Large Survey
My pdoc just prescribed Fetzima - which is a drug developed from savella. It is apparently *not* recomended for fibro (because then who would buy savella?) but it is prescribable for major depression- and has a chance to do some off label help with pain as it is an SNRI. Another pox head episode
Any chance lidocaine helps with this? Don't know a whole lot about shingles, but I do know that lidocaine/prilocaine mixes penetrate deep into the skin and can help for hours if they'd work for you. Feel better soon!- ShyestofFlies

That seems like really short notice, when my dad's doctor left his practice he told people at their last appointment... But then he ended up staying an additional six months or so. You'd think there would be some protocol for recomending people new doctors and warning them in proper advance....- ShyestofFlies

Should Everyone Try Tumeric?
I tried it for a while in tablet form, dosage... 500 mg almost every day, source naturals brand. I couldn't tell there was any difference going on with me, but maybe I just wasn't taking enough? I've also tried it as a spice, I don't really like it in food that I make because I tend to use too...- ShyestofFlies

What got me interested was the teaching your dog to help you up hills on command and the counter balancing task for when you go off balance. While some of the effects of a ESA would be nice, I think what I like best is the physical aid a bigger dog can provide. Unfortunately the down side is big...- ShyestofFlies

If by that they mean able to live in a hygienic housing, prepare and eat 2-3 meals a day, clean up after yourself, shower daily, drive or take public transportation, work (nearly) every day, take care of family members and pets and do all these things and more every day, day in and out, then yes...- ShyestofFlies
