Mady Hornig came for tea at the Simmaron Research Foundation. While she was there she talked about how the “Peterson subsets” changed her approach to ME/CFS, immune exhaustion and the first findings from her and Ian Lipkin’s gut study. Check it out on Simmaron’s website
Yeah its about time… I have been waiting for this! But the final report its not ready yet. I am excited about the future for ME pasient now. I feel the bigg change is coming soon. .
Thanks for the good tidings Santa Claus 🙂
Thank you Cort for alerting us to this article. It sounds very interesting and promising. I take probiotics, which when I’ve tried to stop, I’ve always contracted an infection after approximately 3 months.
I do feel even the shelf probiotics do help to fight off infections, if nothing else. I’m lucky never to have suffered from depression. I have had H Pylori bacteria, from a trip abroad and was treated with antibiotics. I suffer with digestive problems still.
Dr Hornig is at the Invest in ME Conference here in the UK on 23 October. It will be good to hear all about her speech on that occasion, as well.
When will they ever aknowledge its a virus reactivating??….
I cannot believe it takes so long in 2015…
the problem is .. this will start to change the face of medecine….
